Fronde Synergy announced today that it has signed an agreement with Provenco’s Retail Automation division for services and implementation of Salesforce.com.
This agreement marks the first step in the company’s plans to transition to a software-as-a-service platform; a business model that is fast gaining momentum in the electronic payments and transactions industry.
“Provenco represents one of many New Zealand companies that are now recognising the value that software-as-a-service products like Salesforce.com can bring to their business,” says Steven Graham, Fronde New Zealand North general manager.
“The software-as-a-service business model has matured to the point where there are now some clearly recognisable benefits, says Glen McLatchie, General Manager, Provenco Retail Automation. “As a hosted model – it lowers the cost of professional services, eliminates the need for infrastructure set-up and baseline implementation costs and delivers measurable savings on ongoing maintenance, upgrades and support of customisation and integrations.
“Salesforce.com enables our staff and resellers to access the software they require virtually anywhere in the world. With Provenco’s Retail Automation division now spanning more than 20 countries, this level of accessibility is one of our foremost requirements,” says McLatchie.
Salesforce.com has been ranked by IDC as the world number one on-demand CRM and on-demand supplier relationship management (SRM) system. Fronde is Salesforce.com’s New Zealand go-to-market consultancy partner in the enterprise market.
