Paul is a Principal Consultant in Fronde Strategy Services team with focus on solution architecture especially as it relates to mission critical and enterprise wide solutions; whether deployed within the enterprise, within the cloud, or as their own Software as a Service (SaaS).
Architecture is the first design activity that a project encounters. It often happens outside of the formal confines that we might expect; when people have a vision of the solution to a business problem they may immediately start envisioning what the solution might look like. In this way architecture is exciting and pivotal to setting up and successfully completing a project.
As an early and enduring design activity, architecture not only describes vision it also helps communicate it. Architecture is important in identifying and mitigating complexities and risks that are inevitable in modern computing systems which are likely to touch many other solutions and business process with the enterprise and beyond.
Paul works with the clients to help ensure that their goals are understood and correctly communicated to the Fronde project team so that the goals can be correctly meet.
Paul has been working in ICT for over 20 years and in this time has worked in many industries, most recently the New Zealand electricity industry, supply chain, and computer service industries for US and UK clients who have mission critical requirements that need to be meet with highly scalable and highly available solutions.
