Fronde grows public sector business by 32%

3 July 2009

Fronde achieved a $3,400,000 improvement in its cash position on the back of tight focus on growth in the public sector in the Wellington branch and on new business generation in the financial and utilities sectors in the Auckland branch. The year end profit after tax of $370,000 is a significant turnaround on the previous year results

The Wellington operations of the Group have continued their strong and profitable performance by delivering well on our core offerings of large scale software applications and integration projects.

“The board is particularly pleased with continued growth in business with public sector clients in Wellington where revenue increased 32% from the previous year,” said Wayne Norrie, Chairman. Fronde’s strong relationships with clients in this sector can be attributed to great people and their consistency in delivering expected outcomes on time and budget.

Auckland gained deals in the last quarter with new key clients in the insurance and utilities sectors. The success in securing major new clients will provide foundation for sustainable growth for the region.

“Our strategy of dedicating teams to our clients over the long term means we build significant subject matter knowledge and become part of the family”, says Ian Clarke, CEO Fronde.  “This year we will continue to put a lot of effort into staff and customer satisfaction,” says Mr Clarke. “Fronde is a people business, and happy staff contribute enormously to creating happy clients.”

In 2009 Fronde will continue the focus on delivering great software and integration project outcomes; and extending its leadership position in cloud computing.
